Good Neighbor House Board, Staff and Volunteers are pleased to announce the recent appointment of Michelle Collier, BS, MPA, to Executive Director.

Collier, having been involved at GNH as Chief Operating Officer for the past five years, has succeeded Frank Perez and assumed responsibilities on January 1, 2022.

Good Neighbor House is a non-profit organization focused on providing much needed support to the uninsured in the Miami Valley and surrounding region; through dental care, medical care, counseling services and food assistance. Collier has been one of the most transformative leaders in the organizations 28 year history. Having spearheaded a 1.5 million expansion project to help meet the continually raising need for medical assistance in the Dayton area. Construction of the 2,600+ project is expected to be complete in April of this year.

“I have felt a bond with this organization, the mission and beliefs here since I came to volunteer several years ago.” Said Collier. “I volunteered with another pantry that came to do some service hours here. I immediately felt like I was home to where God had been pointing me. GNH was founded on the principal that serving others should be giving them the best care, the best service and any blessing you might have to share without judging. I have watched our programs grow, our staff become enthusiastic about sharing their amazing talents with others! Sometimes you think about what you can bring in to improve a situation and God’s plan is what He will help YOU learn from it.”

Collier holds a Bachelors in Business Admin. From DeVry University and a Master’s in Public Admin. From Keller School of Management.
