“The Thrift Store adds more value to our Wellness Program experience,” said Ashlyn Young, Patient Care Specialist at Good Neighbor house. The program offers impactful health, social, and spiritual knowledge to their clients through various classes, free of charge.
Young continues, “The added bonus now is that those who may find it difficult to afford necessary items in the Thrift Store have the opportunity to attend certain wellness classes, and earn Good Neighbor House Bucks that can be used for those purchases, leaving here not only equipped but also empowered ”
Our volunteers and community partners do their very best to help our neighbors improve their lives as they work to reach their goals. By simply spanning the gap between needs and resources, we offer our neighbors the opportunity to attain the assistance they need without compromising their personal pride or self-reliance.
